The picture above is of me climbing at Shiprock here in Boone. Whenever we can, my older brothers and I get together and go camping and climbing while enjoying the great outdoors! I am a junior at Appalachian State University majoring in Elementary Education. I am greatly looking forward to being a teacher and my goal is to be the best teacher that I can. I love learning and am never opposed to sitting under a blanket with cup of coffee and submerging myself in an awesome book. I grew up in a small town, Midland, NC, just outside of Charlotte. I am super excited because I am getting married this May on the 15th to the most amazing man on the planet, Luke Lunceford. I am excited about what God’s plan is for us as one and His plan for our ministry in the Church.

Who needs to love and be loved
Who loves life beyond what words can describe
Who sees sunsets and daisies as Gods personal amazing gift to me
Who hates the smell of burnt popcorn, stink bugs and dead ladybugs
Who fears that she will make decisions outside of God’s will for her
Who dreams of living a life for the Lord as one with her husband, Luke
Who has found that less sugar in coffee the better

Hey Amy!
I enjoyed reading your bio and poems. I can see that you are a very confident and passionate person and am glad that you are willing to share that with all of your readers!
Amy, I thought you poems were great, your acrostic poem describes you perfectly and you other poem is great because it really gave me as the reader more information about you as a person, the poem was well written and I like how you added a personal touch by adding color, very cute!

I truly loved your acrostic poem! I thought you did a great job picking adjectives that make the reader stop and think about how they accurately describe you. After reading your poem, it seems that you have a very positive and optimistic outlook on the life God has given you. Awesome!
Hi Amy,
I really enjoyed your poem. I can see clearly that you are a very adventurous person and I know that you are living your life to the fullest. I envy that about you. I try to be the most adventurous I can possibly me.

I just love this picture and your paragraph is so exciting, congrats!! Your poems are great, they really describe who you are!
Amy first off i love your blog page!! It is so colorful and beautiful:) I loved both of your poems as well. I thought that your poems were very unique and I could really tell a lot about who you are…which i already know is amazing! I also loved how you used the word “amazed” cause that can mean so many great things!
Amy,
I like how your portrait poem is relatively serious throughout but then you change it up with what you “hate.” I like this line because it shows you have a fun sense of humor but also provides information about you.
Great poems!
Amy,
The picture of you climbing is absolutely beautiful!! I enjoy climbing myself. Congratulations on the engagement and I hope that you post pictures on here of your wedding! Best of wishes!!
